37 hours per week, 5 days per week on site

£29.09 per hour

To lead and manage the Housing Management Team, ensuring a high-quality, customer-focused and efficient service for tenants and leaseholders.

Manage and support the Housing Management Team.
Oversee tenancy, leasehold, estate and income management services.
Manage rent collection, arrears and debt recovery.
Oversee tenancy enforcement, ASB and complex housing cases.
Ensure compliance with housing legislation, regulations and health & safety requirements.
Support vulnerable residents to sustain their tenancies.
Lead tenant engagement and consultation activities.
Monitor performance, budgets and service standards.
Develop and implement housing strategies, policies and improvement plans.
Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver joined-up services.
Deputise for the Head of Housing Management when required.
Participate in the out-of-hours housing on-call rota.

Strong housing management experience, ideally within a Local Authority or Registered Provider.
Experience managing and developing a team.
Knowledge of housing legislation, regulation and case law.
Experience managing budgets and improving service performance.
Strong understanding of tenancy, estate and income management.
Excellent communication, negotiation and report-writing skills.
Strong customer-focused and solution-driven approach.
Experience managing change and service improvement.

Relevant degree or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ staff management experience.
Housing management experience within a Local Authority, Registered Provider or similar organization.
Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
DBS clearance required.
