Pay Rates

Monday to Friday: £12.71 per hour
Saturday Overtime (where available): £13.71 per hour
Holiday pay is accrued separately in line with PAYE regulations
Rolled Up Holiday Pay is not available for this vacancy

About the Role

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a well-established distribution business based in the Tamworth area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional Van Driver seeking long-term, ongoing work with regular weekday shifts, overtime opportunities and the potential to secure permanent employment.
This role operates within the distribution and logistics industry, delivering products to both commercial customers and residential locations throughout the region.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Van Driver , your duties will include:
Completing 6 to 8 deliveries per shift
Delivering products to business and residential customers
Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
Handballing products where required
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Using electronic POD (Proof of Delivery) devices
Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
Following all road transport and health & safety regulations

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday
No weekend work required
Overtime available
Start times typically between 06:00 and 08:00
Flexible start times available where possible
Shift lengths generally between 8 and 12 hours
Long-term ongoing assignment

Requirements

Full UK Van Driving Licence
Previous van driving experience preferred
Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations
Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately
Reliable and punctual approach to work
Good communication and customer service skills
