Forklift Driver (Counterbalance)

Salary: £36,620 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Rotating Shifts (Monday to Friday)

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse operation, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, helping to keep production and distribution running smoothly.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating shift pattern across a 37.5-hour working week , including occasional night shifts:

Monday to Thursday

6:00am - 2:00pm

2:00pm - 10:00pm

10:00pm - 6:00am

Friday

6:00am - 11:30am

11:30am - 5:00pm

5:00pm - 10:30pm

This structured shift system provides variety and allows for an excellent work-life balance, with shorter Friday shifts and regular weekday scheduling.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe handling, movement, storage, and transportation of materials throughout the site. Working closely with warehouse and production teams, you will ensure stock is moved efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.

Loading and unloading vehicles.

Moving materials between warehouse and production areas.

Stacking, storing, and locating stock accurately.

Completing daily vehicle safety checks and inspections.

Ensuring goods are handled in accordance with company procedures.

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
