Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Junior Warehouse Operative to join a busy facility in Bridgend.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse, crating and packaging duties with basic computer and administrative tasks. You'll help ensure specialist equipment is safely prepared, packaged and ready for national and international shipment.

No previous experience is essential, as full training will be provided. This opportunity would suit someone who is practical, reliable and keen to learn, with an interest in developing a career in warehouse and logistics operations.

What We Offer

£25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Full-time, permanent position.

Monday-Friday working pattern.

Fully on-site role.

30 days' paid holiday, increasing to 38 days with length of service.

5% employer pension contribution.

Key Duties

Crating and Packaging

Cut timber and sheet materials safely using hand and power tools.

Construct bespoke wooden crates, boxes and pallets to specified dimensions.

Pack and secure fragile, heavy and specialist equipment for shipment.

Carry out quality checks to ensure items are securely packaged.

Operate a forklift to move materials and assist with loading and unloading following appropriate training.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.

Follow all health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
