Are you a Chemistry or Materials Science professional with a commercial mindset and an interest in technical sales and account management?
We're looking for a commercially minded individual to join an established business operating within the speciality chemicals and advanced materials sector. This is an opportunity to combine technical knowledge with customer relationship management, account development and new business generation across European markets.
Working closely with the Business Manager, you'll help develop opportunities across surface finishing, abrasives, polishing and related industrial applications, building customer relationships and identifying opportunities for commercial growth.
The Role
Develop new business opportunities across designated European markets and industrial sectors.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, including manufacturers, formulators and industrial businesses.

Identify potential customers, applications and products, progressing opportunities from initial enquiry through to conversion.

Support targeted sales and marketing campaigns to generate leads and develop existing markets.

Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity to identify new commercial opportunities.

Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking customer interactions, sales pipelines and opportunity progress.

Work closely with internal technical, marketing, supply chain and operational teams to support customer requirements.

Provide regular updates on sales activity, market developments and pipeline performance.
