Zest Education is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and caring Teaching Assistants to work full-time in secondary schools across Staffordshire, starting in January 2027.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other members of school staff to support students throughout the school day. You will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students with their learning across a range of secondary school subjects.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
• Helping students stay focused, engaged and motivated.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and adapting your approach to suit individual requirements.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Building strong, professional relationships with students and school staff.

• Experienced in education, youth work, coaching or mentoring — although previous school experience is not essential.
