Teaching Assistant - Mainstream & Specialist Schools

Location: Watford and across Hertfordshire
Contract: Full-time, temporary

Envision Education is recruiting caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream and specialist schools across Hertfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in education, childcare, residential care, volunteering or personal experience supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The Role

Support pupils individually and in small groups.
Help children access learning and develop communication and social skills.
Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
Support pupils with additional needs, including personal care where required.
Work alongside teachers and support staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

About You

Experience supporting children or young people, particularly those with SEND.
Patient, reliable and adaptable.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Relevant qualifications are welcome but not essential for every role. Training will be provided.
