Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

Academics is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Gloucester as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical classroom experience, develop your understanding of SEN and make a meaningful difference to children's learning, confidence and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.

Support personalised learning plans alongside teachers and the SENCO.

Encourage inclusion, independence and positive engagement.

Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.

Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support pupil progress.

What We're Looking For:

A graduate with a genuine interest in SEN and child development.

A degree in Psychology, Education or a related subject is desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, proactive and adaptable approach.

Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.

Role Details:

Position: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £90-£105 per day, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, 8:30am-3:30pm
