HGV Class 2 Driver – Bicester, Oxfordshire – £15.00 Per Hour
People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Bicester, Oxfordshire .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering £15.00 per hour, a minimum of nine hours' pay guaranteed each day, Monday-to-Friday shifts, ongoing work, weekly pay and immediate starts.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, Pallet Delivery Driver or Truck Driver.
Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 start time
• Finish times vary depending on delivery schedules
• Minimum of nine hours' pay guaranteed each day

Rates of Pay

• £15.00 per hour
• Minimum of nine hours' pay guaranteed per day
• Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out pallet deliveries throughout Oxfordshire
• Operating Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly
• Following road traffic laws and transport regulations
• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
• Assisting with loading and unloading when required

Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No major driving endorsement codes
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• Strong understanding of UK road traffic legislation
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Training Provided

• Driver assessment required before starting
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
