How it all started

In 2000, when Bram Bosveld, Hugo de Koning and Rogier Thewessen were still studying, they went looking for part-time jobs. As they were unable to find anything online, they set up their own job board: StudentenWerk. Here, employers posted their job openings and students applied online. Easy, fast and targeted.

Sitting in his attic room one day, Bram was called by an employer. “Do you also cover temporary staffing?” the employer asked. “Yes, we do,” Bram answered, calling out to the others: “We're going into temporary staffing!” A new type of temporary employment agency was born.

Just go for it, that is still our company's approach. It is this mindset that helped StudentenWerk develop into YoungCapital: a recruitment agency with over 20,000 candidates at work every week. We have the largest database of young people in Europe and are easier to find online than any other Dutch employment agency.
