PM109816 Trainee Obstetric Sonographer in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital

​​​​​​​An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee obstetric sonographer to join the maternity scanning department within NHS Grampian.  This is a busy outpatient department providing all aspects of obstetric sonography and fetal medicine.  The maternity scanning departments in NHSG provide over 35,000 scans a year.

This post is a training position for 1 year.  Once all competencies and certification are achieved the successful candidate will progress to a Band 7.

You should be an enthusiastic and driven individual who is willing to undertake a blended approach to learning with practical and theory-based assessments delivered both in house and through Glasgow Caledonian University.  A Midwifery qualification is desirable but not essential.
