Medical Secretary - Burns and Plastic Surgery in Glasgow Royal Infirmary

The shift pattern for this posts is Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
We are looking for an experienced secretary to join our Admin team within the Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit and to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Plastic Surgeons. Our team consists of 20 Consultants, General Manager, Clinical Service Manager, Lead Nurse, Clinical Director, Service Support Manager, Admin Manager and Admin/Waiting List Manager. There is also an administration team of 25 staff.
Key Duties
- Responsible for the management of Consultant’s waiting list within Plastic Surgery.

Proven skills in the use of Trakcare/Portal/Opera/Waiting List-Theatre Dashboards.

Audio typing experience

High level of competence in office administration, excellent telephone and communication skills, personal organisation and time management skills essential.

Ability to work under pressure and organise, priorities and work to deadlines.
