Senior Rotational or Rotational Pharmacist, Band 6/7 in Perth Royal Infirmary

Senior Foundation Pharmacist (Band 7) or Foundation Pharmacist (Band 6)  Band 6 or 7 depending on experience​​​​​​​

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours over 7 days

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at Perth Royal Infirmary and Murray Royal Hospital. You will join our existing team of Rotational Pharmacists who cover medical admissions, general medicine, medicine for the elderly, stroke, palliative care, surgery, orthopaedics and psychiatry. You will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team supporting excellence in prescribing quality and safety.

Applicants will be supported to complete the NHS Education for Scotland post registration foundation programme for newly qualified pharmacists. The pharmacy team are committed to providing local professional development opportunities. All Foundation Pharmacists are supported throughout their training by an Educational Supervisor, and other members of the wider team will support and encourage you in your day to day role through local peer review and supervised learning assessments.

To meet patient needs you will also have involvement in 7 day service provision, including weekend working, public holidays and on-call service provision as part of a NHST rota. You will be supported with training and mentors to undertake these roles.
