At EY we encourage everyone in our team to be bold, think big and be different. Why?

EY is one of the largest student employers in the UK. In total, we recruit around 2,500 students every year into Apprentice and Graduate programmes, as well as a broad range of work experience opportunities. To fulfil these demanding requirements, we attract over 75,000 candidates each year. We have a passion not just for recruiting the best student talent but ensuring we attract the most diverse talent by making a positive impact on the lives of students in the UK, and our wider society.

The student recruitment team is fast paced, forward thinking and innovative. We are a large team based around the UK, working as one team to deliver the most exceptional student experience.

Our vision is to become the leading and most innovative student recruitment team, revolutionizing how we engage and attract top talent from universities and schools. We strive to be the catalyst that connects exceptional students with our organization, creating a dynamic and diverse talent pipeline that drives our future success. The student market is evolving and complex, and agile thinking with execution is what will continue to make EY stand out from the crowd.

In pursuit of our vision, our student team are committed to:

  • Bold and Creative Approaches that Transform: We constantly challenge conventional recruitment methods, embracing creativity and innovation to develop ground-breaking recruitment strategies that captivate and excite students. By thinking outside the box, we aim to leave a lasting impression and position our organization as an irresistible destination for aspiring professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Building a market-leading Candidate Experience: We recognize the importance of building the best candidate experience. Through reducing time in stage and ensuring candidate move promptly through each recruitment stage, through personalized interactions and genuine care, we foster trust, understanding, and a sense of belonging, ensuring that students see us as more than just a potential employer, but a company who is committed to building a better working world for everyone.
  • Elevating  our Employer Brand: We strive to cultivate a distinctive and compelling employer brand that resonates with students and sets us apart from competitors. By showcasing our values, culture, and the unique opportunities we offer, combined with “BIG BANG” and events that bring the “WOW” factor we attract top talent who align with our organization's vision and contribute to our collective growth plans.

By actively seeking out students from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented groups, we create a vibrant and inclusive community that celebrates individuality and fosters innovation, through long-lasting connections.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: We leverage data analysis and insights to drive our recruitment strategies. By tracking and analysing key metrics, we gain a deeper understanding of student preferences, behaviours, and trends, allowing us to continuously optimize our approach and make data-driven decisions.
