In line with the development and maturing of the practice, this role has been created to work closely with Oracle Retail Licence Sales in pursuing new licence opportunities that will drive new engagements for ORC. It is intended for it to becoming operational at the start of Oracle's 2025 fiscal year. The role being created here, will focus on the region's ability to win new business through working closely with our colleagues in Oracle Retail Licence Sales (Licence Attach) in converting prospects into Oracle Retail Consulting clients New Business Sales as a Business Function within ORC EMEA Key functional areas for

New Business Sales

are: Work closely with Oracle Retail Licence Sales to identify new opportunities for ORC. Manage sales through forecasting, account strategy and planning. Develop a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet and exceed your quota targets. Produce a sales plan for identified opportunities. Identify and reserve members of the required pre-sales and delivery teams. Working with Oracle Retail Licence Sales, and Pre-Sales team, manage and execute the sales process from the ORC perspective. Work with the ORC pre-sales and delivery teams to define the scope and size of the potential engagement. Match the appropriate ORC service offer(s) to the client's needs. Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of the ORC value proposition. Produce proposals and manage the approval process. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements incorporating client specific details. Close deals and obtain required documents and signatures. Carry out a formal hand-over to the Oracle Retail Delivery function. Identify and develop strategic development of new ORC Service opportunities. Where required, work with Oracle Partners, System Integrators and/or other parts of Oracle Consulting, to produce combined proposals for new opportunities.

Reporting Structure Reports to ORC Senior Director Sales - EMEA. The New Business Sales Director will need to work closely with one or more Oracle Licence Sales Senior Directors and a number of Oracle Retail Licence Sales and Pre-Sales representatives. This role will also require close working relationships with ORC Delivery, Capability, and Oracle Retail Product Strategy teams. Key Performance Indicators In line with the accountabilities and responsibilities of the New Business Sales function, the table below highlights the major Key Performance Indicators ["KPIs"] which will be used to appraise the performance of the function and, hence, the performance of the New Business Sales Directors. Table shows both Primary indicators and Secondary indicators, more likely to be shared with other functions in the Practice. When appointed, the New Business Sales Director will be expected to create a strategic sales plan for their designated area of responsibility, ensuring that it supports these indicators, and agree measurable targets against each KPI with the New Business Sales Senior Director. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Sales - understand the steps required to manage and close a sales opportunity Business development - ability to identify and help develop offers that will help secure consulting engagements Inter-personal skills - able to communicate with and influence peers, client representatives (including Senior Executives, CxO board level) and internal and external teams Practical understanding of Retail Industry processes and working practices Detailed understanding of Retail drivers and constraints Fluent in English - it would be preferable, but not critical, that candidate could speak at least one other European language fluently Travel commitment - up to 50 - 60% of time
