We are seeking a proactive and dynamic HSE Coordinator to join a growing business on a part-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for managers and colleagues, supporting the organisation in maintaining health and safety as a core focus, while working alongside external consultants to support delivery of company strategy, values, and policies.


Key Responsibilities - Health and Safety Coordinator:

  • Build and promote a strong culture of compliance across the business, driving continual improvement in employee health, safety, welfare, and environmental management.
  • Assist management with health and safety responsibilities and provide expert advice on current legislation, guidance, and best practice.
  • Facilitate and coordinate policy development and maintenance.
  • Provide hands-on support for risk reduction activities, facilitate risk assessments, and contribute to safe systems of work.
  • Manage compliance audits and ensure timely resolution of any non-conformances.
  • Arrange and facilitate health and safety training for staff, including first aid and fire safety.
  • Support investigations into incidents, accidents, near misses, and compliance breaches


What We’re Looking For - Health and Safety Coordinator:

  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Experience in managing health and safety within a regulated environment (manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a confident influencer at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise work loads
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Chemical hazard experience is a plus.
