Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Field-based (Surrey, Fleet, Camberley, Brighton & surrounding areas)

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + £4,000 Car Allowance + Mileage

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours/week, Mon–Fri)

Driving Licence: Essential

About the Role

We’re looking for a qualified Health & Safety professional to support our nurseries across the South of the UK. You’ll help drive a positive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement across multiple sites.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert H&S support to nurseries and support offices
• Conduct site visits, audits, and incident investigations
• Support with fire safety, DSE assessments, and risk management
• Deliver coaching, training, and guidance to managers and teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed best practices

What We’re Looking For

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
• Experience in a similar H&S role (childcare, education, or retail preferred)
• Knowledge of fire safety, DSE, COSHH, and risk assessments
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays

⭐ Desirable

• GRAD IOSH or working towards
• Fire Safety and DSE Assessor experience
• Level 2 Food Safety Hygiene

An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
