Job Overview

A private care provider is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team across various supported living and care settings. You will play a key role in delivering person-centred care, promoting independence, and improving the lives of individuals in our services.


Key Responsibilities

Care and Support

  • Deliver care and support in line with each individual’s care or shared action plan.
  • Assist with domestic tasks, cooking, and service-specific needs.
  • Promote choice, dignity, respect, and independence at all times.
  • Support service users in developing social, life, and recreational skills.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment tailored to each person's needs.
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to develop and review care plans.
  • Adhere to safeguarding practices and uphold all relevant policies and procedures.


Teamwork and Communication

  • Report to the designated team member on shift and follow delegated tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Uphold organisational values and policies.
  • Promote inclusivity, equality, and anti-discriminatory practice throughout your work.


Training and Development

  • Participate in internal and external training, including e-learning modules.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward personal growth and skill development.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and care standards.


General Duties

  • Accurately complete reports, financial logs, and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to meet service needs.
  • Be prepared to carry out occasional additional duties to support the smooth running of services.
