We are working closely with a primary school in Banbury, Oxford to support them with finding a qualified primary teacher. They are looking for a qualified teacher to teach across a year 5 class. This is a lovely primary school with a supportive leadership team who are keen to support staff with career progression. The role is starting in September for the new academic year and will start on a long-term contract which will progress to a permanent contract after just one term has been completed. A fantastic opportunity for any Primary teacher to take on the role of year 5 teacher

About the Role

The Year 5 teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and delivering high-quality instruction to students. This role requires a passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Teaching certification for primary education.
• QTS

Required Skills

• Teaching experience across KS2 year groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with differentiated instruction.
• Familiarity with technology in the classroom.

Pay range and compensation package

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
