Human Resources Advisor in London Area

CAMHS Professionals is looking for an Human Resources Advisor in London Area

Job description

HR Advisor – Hybrid | £30,000 | Hackney Wick, London

Be the trusted HR expert who helps shape a compassionate and high-performing culture across a group of purpose-driven organisations.

Are you a confident, knowledgeable, and proactive HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments? We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join our growing central team supporting a dynamic group of companies across healthcare, social care, and education — all dedicated to improving lives and supporting communities.

This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a role that offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with passionate professionals in CQC and Ofsted-regulated settings.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the go-to person for managers and employees across our group, providing clear, timely, and practical HR guidance. You'll support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and training to ER casework and performance management. You’ll also:

  • Advise on complex employee relations issues including grievance, disciplinary and capability.
  • Review and update HR policies in line with employment law and best practices.
  • Coach and support line managers to be confident people leaders.
  • Drive HR compliance, maintain accurate HR data and help shape key people processes.
  • Contribute to strategic HR projects and training initiatives.
  • Lead HR inductions and manage contract administration.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same — and your expertise will be truly valued.

What We’re Looking For

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent HR education.
  • Strong HR generalist experience, ideally in CQC or Ofsted-regulated settings.
  • Proven experience advising on ER issues and managing policies and compliance.
  • A confident communicator and problem-solver with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law, safeguarding, and HR systems (e.g., HRIS admin).
  • A proactive mindset – you're not just reactive, you look for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

Why Join Us?

  • Salary: £30,000
  • Location: Hybrid working (Hackney Wick office 2–3 days/week)
  • Hours: 35 hours/week (full-time)
  • Holidays: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
  • A real opportunity to grow your HR career within a values-driven, people-focused group
  • Supportive leadership and a collaborative, down-to-earth culture
