Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Plumbing programmes
• Prepare Schemes of Work, lesson plans, and assessment materials
• Track student progress, provide feedback, and offer tutorial support
• Liaise with employers, parents, and guardians as needed
• Keep up to date with developments in the Plumbing and Construction industry

Essential Criteria

• Level 3 vocational qualification (or higher) in Plumbing
• Relevant industry experience in Plumbing or Construction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and student development
• Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if not already held

Desirable

• Recognised teaching qualification
• Experience with vocational assessment and internal verification
• Ability to embed Maths and English skills into vocational delivery
