Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?

Our client is a dynamic orthopaedics company that continues to grow year after year. In this role, you’ll join a close-knit and vibrant team with real spirit – so you’ll feel right at home in the collaborative, supportive environment they offer. They’re strong believers that people are their biggest asset, so they place real value on progression and development. It’s a fantastic place to build your career.

They can also offer you a great benefits package, including the ability to opt into flexible private medical insurance, a strong matched pension scheme, and corporate discounts on some of the latest tech.

What will your day to day look like?

You’ll put your clinical knowledge to good use in this role! Being a Clinical Specialist is all about using your understanding of the products – and of anatomy in general – to support clinical teams in theatre settings with the product portfolio. You’ll offer them guidance and consult them on best use of the products before, during, and after theatre procedures.

Basically, you’ll be the main interface between our client and their clinical customers. You’ll really get to know them so that you can give them the best customer experience possible and make sure they’re getting the most out of their products. So, your day-to-day might look a little like this;

  • Advising on product use during a theatre case
  • Providing guidance to new and existing customers
  • Training theatre staff on the products
  • Account management for the hospitals in your territory
  • Gathering and translating clinical data into insights for the sales team
  • Managing inventory levels
  • Keeping the CRM database up to date

This role will suit you if you…

Are based around the Greater Manchester or Lancashire area and have a solid understanding of human physiology and anatomy, likely from a science- or medical-focused degree. A few other things our client is looking for;

  • Comfortable in a theatre/operating room setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to talk confidently about clinical matters
  • Well-organised with great time management
  • The ability to travel across the territory and access to your own car is essential, as is being comfortable with driving.
