Occupational Therapist – Full-Time | £38,000 | West Yorkshire

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Sector: Mental Health, Neuro-Rehab, Addictions, Eating Disorders

Experience Level: 3+ years (including 1 year in a specialist setting)


About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join a forward-thinking multidisciplinary team in West Yorkshire. What You’ll Do:

  • Assessment & Planning: Conduct patient assessments and develop individualised treatment plans that support independent living.
  • Delivery of Care: Implement interventions through 1:1 and group sessions, closely monitoring progress and documenting outcomes.
  • Team Support: Mentor and supervise junior staff and trainees, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with a range of clinical professionals to deliver cohesive and comprehensive care.
  • Communication: Maintain strong links with patients, families, carers, and external stakeholders throughout the care journey.
  • Safeguarding: Act in line with safeguarding protocols and complete all required training.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and full BAOT membership.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification, with at least 1 year in a specialist area (e.g., neuro-rehab, addictions, eating disorders).
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emotional resilience, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
