Location: Erith, DA18 4DP

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time | Temp to Perm

Daily Rate: £100 – £110 (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with children with autism or other additional needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming Autism Provision Unit within a mainstream primary school in Erith.

About the Role:

We are seeking a confident, nurturing, and proactive SEN TA to support pupils with autism in a structured, well-resourced provision attached to a mainstream school. You will work closely with experienced SEN staff and class teachers to deliver personalised support, help build independence, and ensure every child thrives in a safe and engaging learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or significant experience supporting children with special needs (especially autism)
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for working in SEN education
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals
• A flexible and positive approach to day-to-day challenges
• Must have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
