Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in Forensic Science and T Level Health courses. This role focuses on core Biology and Chemistry (non-A Level) at Level 3, offering students practical and theoretical knowledge aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Forensic Science, incorporating core Biology and Chemistry content.
• Teach Level 3 Biology for T Level Health students, ensuring curriculum standards and learner progression.
• Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments tailored to course requirements.
• Support students’ learning, progress, and achievement, providing feedback and guidance.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of course delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.

Delivery Areas:

• Forensic Science (core Biology & Chemistry, non-A Level)
• T Level Health (primarily Level 3 Biology, non-A Level)

Person Specification:

• Relevant qualifications in Biology, Chemistry, Forensic Science, or related scientific fields.
• Experience teaching post-16 learners in vocational or technical science subjects.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
