Job Title: Campus Coordinator

Location: Arthur House (Manchester M1 3FH)

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:30 (occasional Saturday/Sunday & Evenings as may reasonably be required)

Reporting to: Campus & Facilities Manager

Salary: £29,000 Annum


Job Overview:


The Campus Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to- day operations of the Borough campus, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and supportive environment for both staff and students. This role is focused on coordinating key areas including maintenance, operations, health C safety, security, and

sustainability initiatives.


The Campus Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining an environment conducive to effective work and learning, ensuring that all aspects of campus life run seamlessly while meeting organisational standards and compliance requirements



Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinating and oversee the efficient delivery of all campus operations, facilities maintenance, cleaning, security and IT functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with health C safety regulations, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure campus facilities, resources and environments meet the needs and requirements of students, staff, and visitors.
  • Act as the primary key holder and be responsible for ensuring the timely and secure opening and closing of Campus site as required.
  • Ensure that all classroom and office spaces are fully resourced, in working condition, appropriately set up and are clean and tidy such that they facilitate students and staff in their work and learning.
  • Ensure staff and students are informed of all facilities, resources and environment issues, changes and procedures.
  • Monitor, order and coordinate campus office and other supplies, including refreshments and catering as required.
  • Keeping an updated inventory of all campus equipment, supplies and orders.
  • Be available to actively support the Campus Manager of VCAD with practical support as requested and required.
  • Collegiately and collaboratively work with the VCAD Student Services team to
  • facilitate a culture of excellent and consistent Student Support.
  • Reporting all issues of concern regarding the maintenance, procurement and health & safety to the campus manager.
  • Assist as required, appropriate campus events such as workshops, induction programmes and similar activities.
  • Provide regular written and verbal reports, as requested, to your line manager.
  • Willingness to work, occasionally, outside of standard hours, including at weekends as required.
  • Ensuring the Fire Alarm is tested on a weekly basis.


Qualifications Experience:


  • Previous experience in facilities, resources, coordination, or similar roles
  • An understanding of the Higher Education sector and culture.
  • Knowledge of health C safety legislation and other associated statutory regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills
