Health & Safety Advisor

North London region

£35,000 - £45,000 plus package

I am working with a civil engineering/utilities specialist who is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team, covering the North London region as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have some infrastructure knowledge and be seeking their second position in health & safety, so will likely have 12-24 months of experience. The position can be based anywhere in North London or commutable distance, but will require regular travel through the region, a driving license will be required to visit all the sites.

The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Advise senior stakeholders and contractors on health & safety, including legislation, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Support the team in providing detailed and accurate health & safety data, support to identify trends, and offer advice on solutions.
• Conduct RAMS across multiple sites
• Build strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders on sites.
• Provide support and training on health & safety to site teams when required,

The Health & Safety Advisor will have:

• 12 -24 months of experience working in health & safety
• Previous experience working in a construction or civil engineering environment, can be on the tools before moving into health & safety
• NEBOSH qualified
• Driving license
• Strong communicator, both verbal and written
