Production Planner – Manufacturing

Chorley | Up to £40,000 | Permanent

Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing company based in Chorley to recruit a talented and proactive Production Planner to join their growing team.

The Role:

As Production Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to meet customer demands
• Coordinating with procurement, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure material and resource availability
• Monitoring progress against plan, identifying bottlenecks and adjusting schedules as needed
• Analysing capacity and production performance data to support continuous improvement
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to communicate lead times and resolve any production issues

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a Production Planning role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills
• Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally
• Able to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
