We’re looking for a Data Protection Consultant who can cut through the complexity of GDPR, build trusted relationships with schools and academies, and deliver practical solutions that matter.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this varied consultancy role, you’ll:

  • Advise schools and academies as their trusted expert on all areas of data protection.
  • Carry out audits and risk assessments, identifying gaps and designing effective solutions.
  • Take the lead during data breaches, offering calm and expert guidance.
  • Draft and update clear, practical policies and procedures.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to help staff understand GDPR in practice.
  • Produce professional reports with insight and actionable recommendations.


What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with:

  • Solid experience in data protection, GDPR compliance, or consultancy (education sector experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Strong organisational ability and confidence in managing multiple projects.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office/365, with the adaptability to learn new systems.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous learning.
