Your role at Vantive


Responsible for championing the training and education of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Vantive products in our Acute therapies division, covering South-East England, including South-East London. The Clinical Specialist will work together with healthcare professionals within ICU’s and Renal units to drive clinical practice efficiencies and effectiveness, along with the appropriate use of Vantive products.

We are looking for someone who has spent time in ICU and has experience of CRRT delivery. You will join a highly collaborative team, working alongside a team of account managers that are leading the way in bringing our expertise to customers.


What you'll be doing


Achieving sales budgets and qualitative business objectives for the assigned therapies by:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, proposing innovative solutions and explaining and promoting Baxter’s product portfolio and their benefits.
  • Promote the preferred patient pathway to healthcare professionals using up to date evidence for the right therapy in the right place at the right time.
  • Demonstrate and train customers on Baxter Renal therapies, products and services, effectively and constructively through an evidence-based approach.
  • provide educational support to customers through formal training days onsite in hospitals or virtually as appropriate.
  • Implement identified therapy and product marketing campaigns/activities.
  • Assist marketing in the development, design, coordination and implementation of training programs and product / therapy usage guides for internal and external customers.
  • Deal with customer complaints & take appropriate actions following internal processes and procedures.
  • Maintain up to date customer records though effective and timely use of our CRM tool.
  • Develop and maintain excellent personal knowledge of the therapy environment, products and their applications and ensure product/renal knowledge remains current and evidence based.


What you'll bring


  • A recognised nursing qualification with proven experience working in ICU or peritoneal dialysis
  • Post graduate renal nursing certificate or ITU Certificate is preferable.
  • Strong results orientation and ability to deliver on deadlines
  • Customer relationship building
  • Confident and clinically credible
  • Project management skills
  • Proven training experience using educational processes, demonstrating strong presentation skills and the proven ability to teach others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Full driving license
  • Occasional overnight stays
  • Flexibility with working hours/patterns
