Year 6 Intervention Learning Support Assistant | Lambeth

Role: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Lambeth, London

Salary: £444-500 PW

Visa: No Visa Sponsorships

✅ Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with KS2 pupils, including supporting learning in English and Maths
• Knowledge of SEN strategies, behaviour management, safeguarding, and child protection
• Ability to provide effective one-to-one or small group support
• Understanding of learning styles, differentiation, and positive behaviour approaches
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in intervention or targeted support programs
• Familiarity with educational software and assessment tools
• Experience supporting pupils with emotional, social, or mental health needs
• Awareness of national curriculum expectations and SAT preparation

Person Specification:

• Relevant degree from a Top 10 University
• Previous child-centred experience
