SEMH Teaching Assistant – Primary (Permanent Role)

We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in West London that is looking for a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build long-term relationships and make a meaningful impact in the lives of pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN and SEMH.
• Assist with personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
• Support emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH pupils (school-based or other settings)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for inclusive education
• DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
