Secondary Computer Science Teacher

Start: October 2025

Milk Education are seeking a committed and resilient Computer Science teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in the Wirral area. The role will be teaching KS3 and KS4 Computer Science, with the expectation to plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to support students in developing a strong understanding of Mathematical concepts. This is a full-time position, starting in October for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective learning outcomes
• Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism in Computer Science – able to teach to KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education)
