ARE YOU A PRODUCTION PLANNER FROM A MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND?

The role would suit Production Planners with a manufacturing background. Applicants who have experience in a heavy industry or a foundry environment will have a considerable advantage. You must be proficient with ERP systems.

Reporting to the Production Manager/Factory Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining detailed production schedules in line with customer orders, stock levels and manufacturing capacity constraints. You will liaise closely with production teams to ensure plans are realistic and achievable. As part of your role, you will adjust schedules to accommodate for demand fluctuations or production challenges. In this role it will ultimately be your responsibility to ensure seamless flow of operations and to ensure that output is delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standard.

*Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules

*Demand planning, resource planning, stock and material control

*Delivering output on time, in budget and to high quality standards

*Liaison with all internal departments

*Troubleshooting and overcoming production challenges

*Monday to Friday. Early finish Friday.
