Qualified Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Heswall

Salary: Daily pay rate up to £120 (paid weekly)

Contract: Full-time, long-term role with strong temp to perm potential

Hirecracker Education are delighted to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Heswall who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will support pupils in the classroom, as well as working one-to-one and with small groups, helping them to grow in confidence and achieve their best both academically and socially.

What you’ll be doing:

• Be a hands-on support in the classroom, making sure every child feels encouraged and included
• Work alongside the class teacher to keep lessons running smoothly and pupils focused
• Provide that extra boost of confidence to children through 1-1 or small group support
• Encourage positive behaviour and celebrate achievements, big and small
• Help create a fun, engaging learning environment where children feel safe and ready to succeed
• Support pupils’ wellbeing as much as their learning

What we’re looking for:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed and grow
