Travel Requirement: 50%+ (Domestic and occasional international travel)


Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cardiology Application Specialist to support Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging customers across the UK. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in radiography or nuclear medicine who are passionate about clinical education, troubleshooting, and building strong relationships with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive support and training to prospective and existing Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine customers, including Cardiac PET introduction, radiation safety, and continuing education.
  • Provide hands-on training for cardiac PET image acquisition and processing across various scanner models, ensuring safe and compliant handling of radiopharmaceuticals (ALARA principles).
  • Act as the first point of contact for equipment-related troubleshooting, working closely with customers to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between professional services and the customer base for generator or infusion cart-related concerns, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, regulatory, and quality to support the full customer lifecycle—from pre-sales engagement to post-installation support.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies to meet sales targets and improve customer retention.
  • Support the implementation of new tools, technologies, and workflows to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, customer interactions, and technical issues for compliance and audit readiness.


Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging; experience with cardiac PET and/or oncology imaging is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cardiac PET installations, applications, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows in hospital or imaging center environments.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Valid UK driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and occasionally internationally.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with training and education delivery in clinical settings.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency with imaging software and systems used in PET/CT environments.
