EDI HR Business Partner in London Area

Cpl is looking for an EDI HR Business Partner in London Area

Job description

EDIB Business Partner

Location: London Bridge, London / Hybrid

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week)

Our Client, a well Established Medical College and Membership Association is entering an important period of cultural and organisational development. We are seeking a skilled and credible Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) Business Partner to help strengthen our approach to equality and belonging, ensuring these principles are embedded across our people practices, policies, and everyday working life.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Human Resources, the EDIB Business Partner will act as the College’s specialist adviser on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging — supporting the delivery of our inclusion strategy and action plan. Working collaboratively across departments, you’ll help to translate strategic ambitions into practical, sustainable improvements that build confidence, capability, and consistency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and processes to ensure equity and inclusion are at their core
  • Design and deliver training, workshops, and awareness sessions on inclusive practices
  • Analyse workforce data to identify trends and areas for development
  • Provide expert guidance to managers and teams on equality and inclusion issues
  • Support staff networks to play an active role in shaping the College’s culture

About You

You’ll bring solid HR experience and a strong understanding of employment legislation, ideally underpinned by a CIPD qualification or equivalent. You should have demonstrable experience in advancing EDIB initiatives within an HR context—ideally in the charity, public, or education sectors—and the ability to interpret the Equality Act 2010 in practical, proportionate ways.

You’ll be confident communicating and influencing at all levels, with the ability to challenge constructively and propose positive, workable solutions.

What We Offer

In return, you’ll join a purpose-driven organisation where people care deeply about their work and where there is real commitment to learning, growth and improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on how we evolve as an employer and as a community.
