Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary Schools (South East London)

Location: South East London | Pay: £101.40 – £115 per day | Contract: Term-Time Only

About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning. From leading small group interventions to covering lessons in the teacher’s absence, you’ll help ensure pupils receive high-quality education and consistent support.

You’ll work closely with class teachers, SEN staff, and senior leaders to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and understood. Your adaptability, confidence, and enthusiasm will make a real difference in pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working as an HLTA or a strong TA ready to take the next step
• Confidence leading small groups and delivering planned lessons
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A proactive approach and passion for supporting children’s learning
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a school-based setting
