Teaching Assistant – North Tyneside

Join a welcoming Primary School in North Tyneside where every child is supported to shine.

Your role:

• Provide support across both Reception and KS2 classes
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to build confidence and progress
• Support children in Reception with early learning, play-based activities, and social development
• Assist the class teacher with lessons, resources, and classroom routines
• Help create a happy, inclusive learning environment

We’d love you if you have:

• Experience supporting children in Reception and/or KS2
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
