Job Title: Clinical Research Administrator/Study Support Coordinator

Location: Bedford

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview:

An emerging clinical research organisation is preparing to launch several new studies and is now looking for a motivated and adaptable Clinical Research Administrator to join the team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support across all day-to-day activities within the research unit
• Manage front-of-house duties, including greeting and coordinating patients
• Organise and schedule patient visits, ensuring smooth clinic flow
• Chase, coordinate, and maintain accuracy of medical records
• Liaise with GPs, physicians and external healthcare professionals
• Support interactions with study sponsors and contribute to study-related administrative tasks
• Assist in maintaining compliance, documentation and study readiness

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a clinical research site (CRO, site management organisation, hospital research unit or similar)
• Strong organisational skills and comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment
• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with clinical staff, sponsors, and patients
• A proactive mindset with attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of tasks

Alternative Backgrounds Considered:

• Registered or trainee Nurses with clinic administration experience who are interested in progressing into a Study Coordinator or Research Nurse role after an initial onboarding period
