Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School - Wirral

Salary: Daily pay rate between £105 and £110 paid weekly

Contract: Full-time, long-term role with high temp-perm likelihood

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to provide support to pupils across the classroom, including whole-class assistance, one-to-one support, and small group interventions.

What will you be doing:

• Aid the class teacher in controlling classroom behaviour and ensuring that pupils remain on task.
• Assist the class teacher in planning engaging lessons and activities and implementing these into small-group and 1-1 support.
• Promote inclusion and support pupils with individual needs/capabilities and additional needs.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people in a school, sports, care, residential support, youth work, mental health, or community setting.
• Must possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
• The ability to foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
