IntroductionOverview
The Partner Channel Lead within the Talent UK practice (GBS UK) is a strategic commercial role responsible for developing, executing, and scaling the indirect sales strategy through a network of external partners and technology vendor alliances. This critical position will focus on driving significant revenue growth and market expansion by managing the entire partner lifecycle, from recruitment of new partners and ensuring robust enablement strategies, to joint go-to-market execution, performance monitoring and driving commercial outcomes for the Talent practice.
How you'll make an impact
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and partner channel strategy that aligns with overall company and practice growth objectives.
- Partner Recruitment & Management: Identify and onboard new strategic partners across all areas of the technology ecosystem related to the growth of the Talent practice, while building and maintaining strong executive-level relationships with existing partners.
- Revenue Generation: Drive significant new revenue growth through our partner channel, setting clear performance targets and developing joint business plans and co-selling opportunities.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Design and implement joint GTM initiatives and where appropriate, co-marketing activities with partners to generate demand and expand market reach.
- Partner Enablement: Ensure partners are properly trained and equipped with the necessary product knowledge, sales tools, and support systems to effectively sell and deliver the company's solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including direct sales, marketing, product development, consulting, legal, data and operations, to ensure alignment of sales activity.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Lead negotiations for complex partnership agreements, terms, and conditions, working with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance, rapid growth and profitability.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on partner performance metrics and KPIs (e.g., pipeline growth, partner-generated revenue, ROI) to senior leadership, using data to optimise strategies as appropriate.
About You
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or alliance management roles within a relevant B2B setting.
- Proven success in building and scaling successful, revenue-generating partner programs is essential.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the company's and practice business model, including the core technology, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with a mature executive presence.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and drive data-informed decisions.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and partner management platforms.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferrable.
- Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
