Willow lodge is a newly established therapeutic residential home for up to four children and young people. Working closely with families and partner agencies, we help young people build confidence independence and stability.

We're looking for Residential Support Workers to join our small, committed team. You'll provide consistent, therapeutic support to help children settle, build trust and develop healthy routines. Part of this role involves driving the homes vehicle to take children to school, activities and appointments, so the ability to drive is important.

Let's talk about you.

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a care setting and developing positive relationships through trust.
  • Application of a range of techniques to co-ordinate and communicate with service users and their families.
  • Demonstrate a solution focused approach to address problems, individually and in a team setting.
  • Demonstrate emotional resilience to respond to the challenging nature of the role.
  • Possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or recognised equivalent) or if you do not possess this you must be prepared to complete this within 2 years of commencing employment with us, full support will be provided.
  • Experience in a trauma informed setting, residential short breaks, or children's services
