As a Chef Lecturer, You Will

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with current curriculum standards.
  • Support and guide students to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain professional expertise and engage in ongoing development.

What We’re Looking For

  • SCQF Level 6 qualification or equivalent (e.g., SVQ 3 in a relevant subject, 706 C&G Qualification, or equivalent level of industry experience). Applicants who can demonstrate an equivalent level of skill evidenced through their commercial work experience will also be considered.
  • Proven commercial experience within the culinary sector.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to motivate students.

Previous teaching or lecturing experience is desirable; however, if you are new to teaching, we will support you in making this exciting career change.

Successful candidates should be prepared to work towards a professional teaching qualification.
