Carrot Recruitment is proud to be partnering exclusively with an innovative, global medical device company. Our client is seeking a Clinical & Technical Support Specialist to join their UK team with a focus on cardiology. This is a highly patient-facing role combining clinical expertise, technical support, education, and stakeholder engagement.


Everything you need to know about the role

Following comprehensive training your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and conducting patient fittings across requesting hospitals throughout the UK (with occasional travel to the Republic of Ireland).
  • Acting as the first point of contact for patients and physicians, providing technical and clinical support via phone and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Analysis of ECG data and other technical information, taking appropriate action and ensuring accurate documentation in line with company guidelines.
  • Network and portal management
  • Delivering customer-facing training and first-line education, working closely with therapy development colleagues.
  • Attending relevant UK cardiology congresses and meetings.
  • Supporting national initiatives to grow awareness of the therapy through effective presentations and customer engagement.
  • Collaborating with Customer Service on projects, process improvements, and service delivery.
  • Responsibility for UK inventory and stock management

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in cardiology within a clinical or hospital environment (preferred)
  • Interest in working in the medical device industry
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required, sometimes on short notice
  • A goal-oriented, hands-on approach with persistence and accountability
  • Strong working knowledge of various Microsoft office programmes
  • A motivated, independent, and patient-focused mindset with a calm and level headed demeaner
  • Strategic thinking and ability to manage logistics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, clinicians, and colleagues
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
