Locum Opportunity – Mental Health Treatment Role (Humberside)

Location: Humberside (primarily Hull, with travel across the region to Crown and Magistrates Courts)

Start Date: ASAP

Commitment: Flexible – 2–3 days per week

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced mental health professional to join a specialist team working within Liaison & Diversion and Reconnect services. This role involves assessing individuals in court and making recommendations for ongoing treatment as part of a suspended sentence plan. The aim is to provide therapeutic interventions for first-time or low-level offenders, helping them engage in treatment rather than serving a custodial sentence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients in court and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Deliver mental health interventions across various bases in the region and potentially online
• Work collaboratively with Liaison & Diversion and Reconnect teams to support rehabilitation

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in Adult Mental Health and/or Forensic settings
• Ability to provide mental health therapy and clinical interventions (not purely assessments)
• Court experience is desirable but not essential
