Deputy Headteacher

Are you a dedicated and adaptable Deputy Headteacher keen to make a difference in senior leadership of a specialist SEND provision?

A well-established, growing SEND school in Kent are looking for an Interim Deputy, ready to make an immediate impact with their unique expertise for the next 3 months, with potential for a longer-term contract.

Job specification:

• Work strategically with the Headteacher to efficiently reach educational objectives
• Strong focus on pupil achievement, safety and wellbeing
• Consistent implementation of the school's vision and values
• Setting ambitious targets for the school
• Daily rate of £270-320 (DOE), paid weekly

Person specification:

• Experience working with SEND students in an SLT position
• Ability to be adaptable and resilient
• Demonstrate readiness to lead and support from day one
• QTS/QTLS or NPQH is advantageous
• DBS on the update service

The school offers high-quality, therapeutic learning to pupils aged 11-16yrs, with a range of complex mixed SEND and SEMH needs. There are around 50 pupils in the school, benefitting from a personalised and balanced curriculum.
