Clinical Psychologist - Children's Autism & Learning Disabilities

£60,000 - £65,000 per annum (DOE)

Full Time

Hybrid Working Available

Visa sponsorship available

Essential:

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).
Registered with the relevant professional regulatory body (e.g. HCPC).
Experience working with children and young people with autism and/or learning disabilities.
Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental assessment, formulation, and intervention.
Experience working with families and carers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and young people with suspected or diagnosed autism and/or learning disabilities.
Contribute to diagnostic assessments, including autism diagnostic pathways, using recognised tools and clinical judgement.
Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions tailored to individual developmental, cognitive, and emotional needs.
Provide behavioural, emotional, and sensory-informed support strategies for children and families.
Offer parent and caregiver consultations, guidance, and psychoeducation.
Write clear, high-quality clinical reports with practical recommendations for families, schools, and other professionals.
