Top Marks AI is a fast-growing EdTech startup revolutionising how schools assess and support student learning. Our software helps educators save time and improve outcomes across secondary schools and multi-academy trusts throughout the UK.
The Role
We're looking for an SDR to drive top-of-funnel activity and generate qualified meetings for the sales team. This is a proactive, outbound-heavy role — you'll be on the phones, running email sequences, and following up on campaign leads to book demos with schools and MATs across the UK.

What You'll Do
- Outbound prospecting: Make calls to schools and MATs to book discovery calls and demos
- Lead follow-up: Work warm leads from campaigns, webinars, events, and inbound enquiries
- Campaign support: Follow up on email campaigns — calling responders, clickers, and re-engaging cold leads
- Event support: Help at events like BETT and MATPN, turning conversations into booked meetings
- Pipeline management: Log activity in our CRM, qualify leads, and hand over to the Sales Lead when ready
- Research: Map MAT structures, identify decision-makers, and build targeted lead lists
What We're Looking For
- Confident and resilient on the phone — comfortable with high-volume outreach
- Organised and disciplined — able to manage call blocks, sequences, and follow-up cadences
- Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Motivated by targets and measurable results
- Familiar with CRM tools (HubSpot ideal, but not essential)
- Bonus: experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or the education sector
