We're seeking a talented and motivated Engineering Planner –Electrical Bias Desirable to

What you'll do:


  • Collaborate with Engineering Maintenance, Reliability and Operations to provide schedules of required work for the teams responsible for the maintenance and reliability improvements of the Shotton Mill assets.
  • Liaise with Production Supervisors, Service Areas and Central Functions to ensure efficient execution of routine maintenance.
  • Plan, organise and assist in the coordination of all maintenance shuts, establishing best engineering practices to optimise available resources, ensuring efficiency and minimising durations.
  • Utilising the on-site system maintenance management system tool (SAP) to coordinate and control the function of the engineering departments maintenance activities across site.
  • Utilise the SAP PM Module to provide structured maintenance plans for production operators to complete basic maintenance tasks.
  • Working alongside the Maintenance Engineers and Sitewide Engineering Supervisors, ensuring any equipment removed from the plant to be repaired in-hour is coordinated through the weekly manpower plan.
  • Utilisation of work orders to allocate the repairs of items and appropriate costs are captured through the system.
  • Act as site contact for external contract labour. Coordinating specialistcontractors to ensure safe and controlled activities are completed on site and to the quality of engineering standards expected, whilst always ensuring compliance on site.
  • Creation and communication of reporting on planned maintenance activities.


What you'll bring:


  • HNC Level qualified in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within a manufacturing engineering team, electrical biasdesirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated, agile and results driven with the ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent organisational skills, capable of efficiently prioritising work and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to use own initiative.
